Whether we like it or not, we’re all getting (even) older, so it’s vital for us to maintain our fitness and independence for as long as possible.
So, in September, a new interest group ‘Healthy Ageing’ is starting. This evolved from a seed sown by one of our new members.
Whilst the primary focus will be diet and nutrition, we shall also be addressing other aspects e.g. physical activity, sleep and relaxation, mental stimulation, interaction with other people and last, but certainly not least, fun and laughter.
The sessions will be run as workshops, with the expectation of individual contribution helping the group.
